From a regulatory and structuring standpoint, Sahil has extensively advised on foreign exchange laws (having advised on both inbound and outbound investment), securities laws, company law, and technology law including extensive work in the fin-tech sector. Sahil has in-depth experience in having handled sector specific regulatory issues and has also advised on some of the prominent transactions in the country, particularly in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, technology, e-commerce, financial sector (banking and non-banking), and online gaming.
In the technology and fin-tech sector, Sahil has extensive expertise in the Indian financial services regulations, and regularly advises payment service providers, online marketplaces and technology companies on the regulatory framework and contractual structuring of new products and impact of legislative changes. His advisory work covers a broad range of FinTech topics- including digital payments, retail/ neo-banking, consumer protection as well as new technologies.
